Located in the coastal village of Kamenari, within the UNESCO-protected Boka Bay and 15 km from Herceg Novi, Capitano is set in a restored captain’s palace, combining traditional character with modern comfort.

Guests can enjoy the peaceful inner courtyard with a swimming pool, while free Wi-Fi and parking nearby are available for a comfortable stay.

All rooms are air-conditioned, soundproof, and designed in a Mediterranean style, with modern furnishings and preserved original stone details. Each room includes a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with bathrobes, slippers, and complimentary toiletries.

The hotel offers a restaurant with dinners available upon request, as well as a small winery. Guests can explore the surrounding area or simply relax in a quiet, authentic setting by the sea.

With its central location in the Bay and close proximity to Tivat Airport, Capitano is an ideal starting point for exploring Kotor, Herceg Novi, and Tivat, while the nearby ferry provides quick and convenient connections across the bay.

During their stay, guests can also enjoy local white and red wines, as well as traditional brandy (“Međe”) from the Zloković family winery, with a tradition dating back to 1704.

Our local cuisine offers a rich variety of gastronomic experiences. Food is a universal cultural language that connects people across the world, and our hotel, together with its carefully selected team, is dedicated to preparing the most flavorful dishes from a thoughtfully curated menu.

Mornings at Capitano

As the well-known saying goes, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Our guests can enjoy two breakfasts, included with their stay.
The buffet includes a variety of cured meats, homemade cheeses, fresh vegetables and fruits, local specialties, vegetarian options, as well as freshly squeezed juices and, of course, excellent morning coffee.
In addition to the buffet, there is also a breakfast menu with a selection of hot dishes available to order — including different egg combinations, English breakfast, pancakes, and our house specialty.

I have been part of the Blanc & Bleu boutique hotel team with the Zloković family for many years — a brand known for its warm and genuine hospitality towards every guest.
As Head Chef, it is my pleasure to prepare a variety of dishes for our guests. Each dish from our Boka-inspired cuisine is created with special care, combining local tradition with a modern culinary approach.
Our goal is not only to satisfy your palate, but to offer an experience you will remember — through flavours, aromas, and the atmosphere we create.
We find inspiration in local traditions, seasonal ingredients, and a variety of culinary influences, in order to offer something special to every guest. Every dish carries a part of our dedication and love for gastronomy.
